Visual Branding for Event Venue

Originally built in 1903, The Barn at Thunderhead Pines is now an intimate venue for weddings, receptions, corporate events, family get-togethers, birthday celebrations, and graduation parties.

Nestled in Smithville, Ohio, just an hour outside of Cleveland, The Barn is privately owned by Doug and Michelle Ventling. The couple spent years driving by The Barn on its original property with the hopes of restoring it. Fifteen years later, that dream became a reality. The Ventling family purchased, dismantled, and relocated The Barn to their nearby 14-acre homestead. After four years of TLC and DIY projects, new life was restored to The Barn — just in time for its first wedding reception in the summer of 2017.

We had the opportunity to create a stunning, custom brand for Thunderhead Pines. Bringing in custom illustration and inviting brand messaging, we were able to portray the heart behind the venue.
