A Creative Web Application for Sexual Education for Teens

In 2022, there is no need for parents to purchase a book about "the birds and the bees" and slide it awkwardly under a child's door, or to rely on misinformation from Google. Teen Health Research is developing engaging, easy-to-use apps to shift mindsets about relationship and sex education while enhancing communication skills and providing a new platform for these conversations.

Working with Oak City Labs and Laura Widman, Teen Health Research is currently developing an app called "The Talk" Tutor. The goal of this app is to help parents talk openly with their children about bodies, sexuality, and relationships. "The Talk" Tutor will provide a step-by-step, comprehensive guide that increases parents’ confidence, upgrades their communication skills, and provides an interactive and easy platform to start these important conversations with kids.

We designed a temporary UX mock up for investors and advisors to be able to visualize the way Teen Health Research would execute their goal of providing helpful information to teens (and parents) on the topic of sex.
